  • my all-time ultimate fave character: Clay Evans
  • a character I didn’t used to like but now do: Dan Scott
  • a character I used to like but now don’t: Peyton Sawyer
  • a character I’m indifferent about: Miranda Stone
  • a character who deserved better: Jake Jagielski, as a deprived Jeyton shipper and good teenage father fangirl I always hoped for his happiness.
  • a ship I’ve never been able to get into: Lucas and Peyton, to me they bring out the worst in each other, ultimate NOTP.
  • a ship I’ve never been able to get over: Clay and Quinn, mainly because the actors are still best friends to this day and I love both their characters and everything about their journey.
  • a cute, low-key ship: I was rooting for Chase and Alex to work out. For the loser bartender to make it work with a musician was too much to ask. I love Jana’s music now so headcanon them getting over the touring obstacle someday.
  • an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it: I could argue that Clay and Quinn weren’t that popular because people stayed mad that Leyton were gone. I love them both and always will.
  • my favourite storyline/moment: Clay’s past with Sara and Lydia’s cancer, both in season 7.
  • a storyline that never should have been written: The random dog in the hospital eating a donor heart. Now we know that crazy shit like that was out of spite with how creator Mark Schwahn was sexually harassing the actresses at the time, but anyway.
  • my first thoughts on the show: I don’t really remember my very first thoughts, back when Glee was the center of my fangirl universe I started falling for Clinn and now they are my everything.
  • my thoughts now: Proud to be a fan of a show where it turns out the ladies are stronger and more badass than anyone ever realized at the time and grateful that it’s the reason I’m still into the fanfiction writing scene.
