You know, I’m actually kinda surprised that James and Lily didn’t have a second child while they were in hiding.

The prophecy was made in early 180, Lily would’ve gotten pregnant in October 1979. They wouldn’t know for sure if their baby is the one until it’s born, but they probably went into semi-hiding right after the prophecy was made. (I think of semi-hiding as they were allowed to leave, but they couldn’t really have any visitors just in case)

And then after Harry was born they went into permanent hiding which most likely means they couldn’t have any visitors and they couldn’t leave the house in Godric’s Hollow at all.

Which means they would’ve spent 15 months in totally trapped in that house.

Since Lily was a Muggle-born, it’s entirely possible that they had a TV in the house, but in the early 1980s there probably wasn’t really that much to watch (and it’s not like they had Netflix or DVR or anything like that)

So, how else would they keep themselves from losing their minds out of boredom?

I mean, I don’t know much about pregnancy but I don’t think that most women can really get pregnant again during the first 6 months after birth. But, then after that it’s entirely possible.

Lily could’ve gotten pregnant in January 1981 (Harry would’ve been six months old) and given birth in October.

I mean, I’m just saying. They were trapped in that house with not very many ways to entertain themselves…obviously it DIDN’T happen because we know that Harry is an only child…but it COULD’VE happened…
