I’ve been watching The O.C for a few months now and I thought I had braced myself enough for Marissa’s death. A few days ago the tenth anniversary of that episode threw it in my face even harder but no amount of seeing the GIF’s and pictures prepared me for how bloody heartbreaking that was. The freaking parallel to him carrying her out after the overdose and all the in hindsight ironic quotes about being the last to say goodbye and RYAN’S FACE WHEN SHE SAID STAY 3 I’m gonna need a break before season 4, so unfair!
