One of the most heartbreaking scenes in Glee to me is when Quinn’s parents discover she’s pregnant and her father kicks her out the house. The most painful part is how amazing Dianna is when Quinn says, “I’m your daughter who loves you.”
And then the rest of the show they blame other people for Quinn being ‘crazy’ when really it isn’t Puck, Sue, the fact that she was pregnant, fact that she didn’t have a boyfriend, that made her that emotional. I just don’t think Glee cared about how scarring that one incident was and after her mother tells her to come home because of the divorce it just goes away
I mean, Quinn got pregnant and disowned within the first ten episodes and people are so much more interested in Santana’s grandmother who disowned her but didn’t leave her homeless, didn’t affect her life, didn’t cut her out of her life when she was pregnant. Yes, she made a joke that she would beat her with a chair if she was pregnant, but Santana’s parents still accepted her and believed in her. Quinn had nobody and had to find help with her boyfriend(s) and friends.
